Unpopular Opinion: Ke$ha

I’ve come to realize that I don’t hate Ke$ha. More than that, I kind of love Ke$ha. When TiK ToK came out four years ago, I thought she was a Katy Perry rip off.  She did the weird, ugly singing, the auto-tune was out of control, and her garbage-monster party-girl thing reeked of desperation. But my […]

Spam and Eggs

I think bots are the only ones “reading” my blog.  I was feeling pretty down about it, until I got this comment from Reginald Mencia: It is super blog, I want to be like you That makes one of us 🙁

Spam and Rice

I get a lot of spam comments on my blog.  Most are gibberish, but some are so outstanding, I have to share. Here’s a classic from wirtualne biuro: Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to understand a lot approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something. I […]

Christian Rock

Happy Easter! Andy and I were checking out a Christian Pop/Rock playlist on Rdio. The first song on the playlist was “Be My Escape” by Relient K, a song I actually really liked in college. It was popular on MTV and hit number 48 on the pop charts. I knew that they were a Christian […]

Unpopular Opinion: Ryan Gosling

Snow Day

We’re getting snowed in. As a kid, like every kid in the world, I loved snow days. Well, not all of it. I didn’t like that bulky snow suit, even if it did keep my legs warm and dry. I didn’t like all the extra work we had to do in school to make up […]

You've Got the Right Stuff

“It’s not yours!  Why would I take your shirt?!”  I hollered on the verge of tears. “Well then, where’s mine, huh?”  Doria, my neighbor, crossed her arms and leaned her round, cherry-toned face into mine so I could see the flecks of dirt on her eyelashes.  She smelled like the tangy Fruit Stripes gum she […]

I was a cat person before we got Duke. But he’s so smart, sweet, silly and snuggly, he’d win over even the biggest cynophob. What I’m saying is, get used to seeing that face. PS – I still love cats.
